A Pair of Suspects Formally Indicted for Jail Killing of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges in the wake of the jailhouse death of ex-Lostprophets frontman and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 now face murder accusations and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by investigating officers.
Watkins, forty-eight, was serving a 29-year sentence at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after confessing to numerous sex crimes which included the tried rape of a very young child.
Watkins was taken into custody following a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a substantial collection of electronic devices including computers, phones and drives were confiscated.
