The Brazilian star Offers Regret to Los Blancos Fans
Vinicius Jr has netted five finishes in 10 Spanish league outings this season.
The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has said sorry to supporters for his response when taken off in the recent heated Clasico clash triumph.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd minute and showed his annoyance by going straight down the tunnel.
Vinicius eventually reappeared to the sidelines and, after his side's 2-1 victory, sought to engage Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury final whistle exchanges.
"This day I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the big match," the player posted on X.
"In the same way as I have previously expressed during the latest session, I wish to express regret anew to my teammates, the club, and the club president.
"Sometimes fervor takes over me because I constantly desire to win and assist my club. My determined nature comes from the love I hold for this club and all it symbolizes."
The player joined Real from Brazil in 2018 for millions and has scored 111 goals in more than 300 games.
But his future in the Spanish capital is far from certain with speculation in lately stating that Los Blancos would think about permitting the player depart if they were to receive a appropriate bid.
When he was substituted on that day, TV coverage from coverage provider the platform captured him remarking: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I go, I'm leaving."
In his latest post on the platform, he commented: "I promise to keep fighting every second for the good of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
